Playing Catch Up

Anybody out there? It's been a while. We're still here and now playing catch up from the past couple of months. We ended the summer with a trip to St. George Island, Florida and began what feels like Fall with school and our first dance class.

St. George Island and Apalachicola, a.k.a. "The Forgotten Coast," is an area of Florida known for quiet, calm, and OYSTERS. We stayed a week in St. George Island with day trips to Apalachicola. The week started with this...

and was filled with lots of this...

and this...

and ending our days this way.

Twice, we drove from St. George Island to Apalachicola for lunch. Apalachicola produces 90% of Florida's oysters, and we ate them literally right off this boat...

from the hands of these two fellows...

Later in the week, we had cousin visitors, making it a lively end to a great week:

Just a few weeks after the beach was the start of "school" which is a couple of mornings a week. It's a lot of fun for them and allows me to do things like run to the grocery store ALONE. Here they are ready for the first week...

And finally, last Thursday was Margaret's first dance class...

That sums up what we've been up to. Hope you've been up to a lot of fun, too!
